Leadership Development Program

The University Staff Council is proud to sponsor the University Staff Leadership Development Program.

The original program began in 2002 and consisted of eight interactive workshops led by guest speakers. The program was restructured in the 2008–2009 academic year and is now offered every other year.

Each year, approximately 25-30 University Staff members are selected to participate in workshops covering skills such as self-management, change adaptation, effective communication, work environments, problem-solving and leadership. The program culminates with a celebration gathering for participants, supervisors and includes all the presenters.
